All the standard technologies one would expect ... cast into the context of a solution for rural/remote fat pipes. Sure would be interesting if ViaSat offered a Neighborhood Area Networking (NAN) program ... a dish and fixed wireless station + POP marketing support. What a growth plan! Recruit/incorporate your customers into the structure. Much better growth plan than expecting to sell dish packages to every house in an area ... sell to one house and thus many. Surely, someone must be in this business. Perhaps you can buy a solution at this level? Anyone have any leads? Then again, would I want to become an ISP/carrier/consultant to my neighbors? I guess technics and economic aren't the only factors to consider!
