Crowley?! Do what thou wilt or be careful what you wish for (Apologies to Graystone) Didn't Crowley go over the edge when he and a friend tried to conjure up a gollum? Wasn't the story that Crowley and a friend were in a room doing that conjuring thing, then a bunch of loud banging around noises were heard coming out of the room, along with other weird noises, then Crowley and friend emerged visibly shaken. His friend was a babbling idiot and died a few weeks later and Crowley was never the same. No more swagger, no more wiseguy, just a shaky guy. You ain't doing that conjuring thing over there, are you?
