We had a problem this morning, obviously. Quote.com's ISP for the mtnview server farm disconnected the entire farm from the net breifly this morning. All clients connected to mtnview servers then went piling on to the herndon farm, which then got very slow trying to serve all the login requests. Quotes were coming through Ok but it wasn't serving up historical charts because it was so backed up. mtnview has come back, and clients are migrating back from the still heavily loaded herndon servers. The situation should be improved right now - I'm getting normal service now, but it was frustrating for a while. We are working to add server capacity to handle these sorts of situations better. -- Gibbons Burke
