NDX. Yes. Like Michael Jordan we know that "rarefied air exists". NDX has lit up the sky. NDX closed above this magic NDX 3000 to finish at NDX 3,003.

It was only yesterday that I mentioned one close below NDX 2,660 and the NDX top will be in. Well not only did we not close below NDX 2,660 on one day, but we rocketed an additional 12% higher to todays close.

So now what?

We are now about 25% above NDX 200 day MA (NDX 2,271.5).
We are about 15% above NDX 39 day MA (NDX 2,589.5)

Both of these readings alone are extreme overbought readings and alone cause for a pullback within a normal band.

What is normal?

For starters, a retest of the 10 day MA of NDX 2,857 level. The market has simply run ot of good economic and earnings news and no news has been bad news for the market. The pullback should start tomorrow for the early birds who want to get a jump, but no later than Tuesday of next week.

As for rarefied air, even Michael Jordan retired and gravity will finally catch up to NDX. Nevertheless, it was one hell of a ride.

Best Regards, J.T.
