Hello Charles,

;-)

I hope (and believe) that there is more to the company than the patents! I'm afraid that as the wearable industry continues to grow, if XYBR was going to make money by suing everyone making a wearable then we are all in trouble! Instead they need to get off their butts and get a more affordable, higher-performance machine on the market.

I'm heading to COMDEX in a week or so, and one of my primary goals is to investigate the wearable market. I'm lloking for components and full blown products ... it *is* coming ...

;-) Again ... this is the power that IBM uses many times ... they have a huge patent portfolio, and deep pockets for their lawyers.

They are good negotiators in many cases ... ;-)

I will admit, this is why I was somewhat hesitant to comment on the IBM press release. I had to agree that, although it makes sense for IBM to look for partners, the press release looked pretty one-sided ...

I'm still holding ... and not making huge amounts of money! ;-)

I really hope that these guys can get their act together. I believe that part of the problem on processor and the main components is that they OEM from another vendor. They are waiting on that vendor to produce the Celeron and CopperMine versions of their embedded system.

I'll let you know how COMDEX looks ... ;-)
