I would think that $8 takeUNDER offer for the $10 Flashnet would scare the fantasy out of every shareholder in ANY small ISP (not just GEEK). In these cool-ish Internet stock days where companies (again, like GEEK) are down some 70% from 52-week highs, there is no automatic salvation in the hopes that some AOL-type company will make a buyout offer.

Shareholders need to adjust their hopes to the new realities. I've placed my money elsewhere.
