We were at some museum in Nevada ~ at Virginia City? There was so much silver coming out of there they thought it was going to have to be "downgraded" to a common metal. Oh ~ maybe it's the old mint there? It's neat. Anyway, they have a Battleship's Silver Service" there, from one of the mid-generation battleships? And apparently it was customary for Battleships to have an ornate "entertaining" or "diplomatic" silver service. These buggers were HUGE, solid silver. Weighed like a ton, all together. Maybe more, I forget. At least a ton I think. That was also odd. That such ornamentation would have been deemed necessary, and space provided for it. It was kind of ugly, too, just too lavish. But amazing. Maybe from the Battleship Nevada, I don't know. Of course. Nevada's cool. Way cool. I take a flask of Jack Daniels out at night and go look at historical buildings. (Walk.) There's a town in Utah that was going to be "big." (In the 1800's.) They built some giant buildings, and commerce went the other way. There's a HUGE County Courts and records building, of sandstone, and it's not being used. Place almost abandoned. Beautiful, and beautiful FEEL. Someone buy it for a house, all 120,000 feet, and I'll fix the inside for ya. Pick colors. I almost bought a building here. 1889 and 40,000 sq feet. Was gonna live in it. You know, Space. God, space is great. But you know, I already had three places to live at the time...... There are still some bildins out there, but I am too poor and old to just go get em, like I used to. Now if I were "rich" and old, that would be different.... :o) We could have parties. I know some places............ Yes I do. Even still.
