Perhaps this was nothing more than a vicious dog-napping after all! Maybe those two dogs were extremely rare and valuable specimens.

People don't normally wear baseball caps with suits, nor wear baseball caps in the house. Might he have put it on because he was accompanying Lehmann outside (in the cold night air) to see him off? Then he was forced back inside and never had time to take it off? Come to think of it, I'll ask my source to see if it was common for Chalem to wear a cap inside or with a suit in general.
