But they don't need to buy beyond.com since software logistics are exactly the same as books and cd's - Amazon has the best technology already. Beyond might have something for downloading software and that is worth something, but not much.

I'd rather see them buy a new space with an automated warehouse all set up, thats where the value is for them now... beyond doesn't have that, its a virtual corporation - low volume, etc. Oh, well.

i think there's a fake press release going around about alliances with bynd and home depot. i've seen it on several stock boards but not on dow jones newswire where it supposedly comes from. at least both my amzn and bynd shares are moving so i'm not complaining :-)
