OTOTOT****what are the rumours on ATHM as a takeover candidate? This guy Kevin Prigle has been speading rumors of an AOL buyout for several months. The longs on ATHM thread have largely discounted this....but someone else found out that MSDW has suspended coverage on ATHM and this is a sign that they are acting on an "advisory capacity". This could be an equity stake (most likly) or a divestiture of part (Excite) and after AOL bought Netscape, I wouln't rule out them doing something as stupid as buying ATHM. But perhaps it is PA or MSFT in the wings? Who knows....we're being played with. Message 11817236
