VISXbull: Reference the suits, the first time Mrs. Davila addressed us in Sacramento, Mar of '98, she stated that VISX had scores of iron clad patents covering everything in their technology. In April this year just before the administrative law judge decided in the COs favor, she told me (answering my question )that "if the Government wins, we will appeal", and if the Feds win, they will appeal which could take years. Case in point - MSFT. My response to the BB posts skeptically questioning why all the officers have been selling was two fold: firstly, they are just mining their geld of options, and second, they might feel that could lose some patent protection in pending counter suits? All conjecture but valid IMO. Personally, I have sold @ 89, 79, 74 and 64 (pulling profits for 99) and bought back March call options betting now that VISX will revisit 100 in 2000. I've got losses in LVCI now having watched it touch 70 and then all the way back down to nothing again. If the rattle snake bites you, it's its fault. If it bites you again, it's your fault.
