Great news, JCJ! Will you take Sugar Magnolia to Sun's annual meeting with you?

I wish I could go.

I like the newspaper format for their annual report. I hate to admit it, but I haven't read the report. :(

I've been very busy at home: yard work, house work and other activities. Still, I haven't had time for a flu shot!!!

Hope you and Sugar Magnolia have enjoyed yourselves!

Best wishes,

Mephisto

Looks like your celebration is premature.
MSFT is recovering nicely from the early morning assault.
There may be a counter attack coming. <g>

SUNW is now 111 1/4. I covered at 117.
I like to make money going up and down.
SUNW is now greatly overbought and is due for a serious haircut.

SUN/EMC Deal? Text from Informationweek November 1st edition, IT Confidential page:

EMC president and CEO Mike Ruettgers has always talked about four core infrastructure vendors: Oracle for the database, Cisco for networking, HP for the operating system and servers, and, of course, EMC for storage. This year, however, HP partnered with Hitachi Data Systems to market a storage system it could put the HP label on. So last week, Ruettgers again cited a core Big 4, but now the server and operating-system company is Sun Microsystems. Add to that the fact that Sun's storage strategy is in a flux, and a partnership between the two vendors makes sense. If a deal is cut, what happens to Sun's storage line? Stay tuned.
