PurchasePro.com Ramps Up to Meet Demand with Foundry Equipment

Las Vegas (November 8, 1999) - Foundry Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:FDRY) and PurchasePro.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:PPRO) today announced a strategic relationship that will enable PurchasePro.com to meet the growing demand for its business to business e-commerce services.

PurchasePro.com has made a major commitment to build both their core internal production network as well as their e-commerce network with Foundry equipment. Foundry will deliver a fault tolerant network for administration and development purposes. The core network will run on Foundry?s BigIron chassis-based switches. FastIron II Plus switches and routers will be deployed in the wiring closets.
