Yesterday Ben mentioned that he was working on his bibliography for his science fair project, and complaining that we don't have an up-to-date encyclopedia. I explained to him that an encyclopedia isn't a good source for a science fair project, and explained the difference between original, secondary and tertiary sources. Ultimately wound up hauling him to the University of Maryland library in College Park, and then to the Georgetown Medical Library, in search of original research articles in publications. His topic is color vision in dogs. So, no, I didn't watch any TV yesterday.

Poor Ben was up until 1 a.m. finishing his other homework, he had to write a five paragraph essay on the effect of religion on politics. I proofread it, so I was up even later.
