The MS decision introduced an instability in the market. Fundamental investors have to a small extent been scared by this and pulled back. Stocks like berkshire hathaway have been down 5%. All the financials are generally down.

Rocka rocka investors don't care about fundamentals they don't consider general market instability (or anything else for that matter) and all the internuts are up. Sot of a flight from quality. :)

Dear JDN: Can't find the post, but I think someone mentioned either Friday or over the weekend that sheik what's-his-name took his C money and put it into CPQ. Perhaps this was one of the reasons that the stock ran up on Friday and, perhaps, like the last time that rumor was out in the beginning of October, it's not true. Just a guess.
