qualcomm.com

Well under way, HDR demonstration by Paul Jacobs [having followed Irwin Jacobs' introduction].

Key point for Globalstar is that 384kbps is enough to get pretty good 'Web transparency' meaning images and much of the rest of the Web content will be accessible from a Globalstar Constellation2 handset.

While not as good as cdma2000 and 1 or 2 Mbps, it is pretty good.

Worth watching!

The Web is not performing though, so I've missed over half of it due to Web congestion and stuff.

Maurice, Another thing the web site should have is a realtime video of the main control room. It would be like watching a NASA rocket launch, 24 x 7. Think of the advertising revenues!

Also, Valpo (That's what those in the know call it) is a pretty good basketball school. Regularly send a team to the NCAA's, where they sometimes make some noise. Pretty good for a little school like theirs. Of course, the quality of the education is irrelevant. <g>

Best,
JS
