>>Agree that today's lack of panic is extremely bullish for MSFT. This stock is going higher, and I believe this will occur much sooner than I'd previously thought.<<

You heard it here first folks. This Jackson thing has been a cloud on MSFT and the entire Tech sector. Now that MSFT looks like they will be able to continue in business for a little while longer, the entire tech sector will jump UP tomorrow.

I saw Klein on TV and your assesment is correct. The vast majority of American's don't believe what he Jackson and Reno are saying ref. harm to consumers.

It is also interesting that the AJ from Conneticut is showing up more and more as a mouthpiece for the DOJ. We saw this in Tobacco and are starting to see it now. Klein and Reno lack credibility so they try to get someone a little smoother to do a soft sell on the American public.

Regards,

Allan, I must admit that I was very impressed with the quick snap back of the stock this morning and maybe the masses are not stupid as one may think. They probably assessed the situation and came to the conclusion that Reno, Klein and Jackson are inclined to show nothing but their evil attempt at destroying a very successful and prosperous Amercian institution. Now I ask what is this thing with Rhat and does it really impose any threat to Microsoft?? Also are there any other companies with promising opportunity for investors who compete with Microsoft

Frank

That's hilarious about Klein on "Face The Nation". I'm sure the Klein believes in what he's doing. But he just doesn't get it. Klein, being a government worker, is probably motivated by some twisted sort of political altruism, and pleasing his boss, Janet Reno. Lifer government types aren't generally motivated by money, content to take their low salary with minimal pay raises. The whole "Face the Nation" panel was probably pissed off at him since all their mutual fund portfolios were about to take a nosedive because just about everybody has a piece of Microsoft.
