fascinating, Janice. Let's start with Dorian Reed's biography:

Dorian Reed is the Company's Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Reed is the creator of the Hitsgalore.com concept. He has been in sales, marketing and consulting of technology services for more than 20 years. He has extensive knowledge of internet technologies and is skilled in HTML, CGI, Java, Shockwave, Cold Fusion, Audio/Video mad other internet technologies.

As a holder of copyrights and patents in the field of electronics and communications, he has created products and traveled the world producing and selling them. In the course of these activities, he has worked with GM, Ford, Chrysler, Bendix and many other Fortune 500 companies.

This obviously fails to mention that he is currently appealing a civil conviction for fraud, with the FTC. Not to mention the stint in the federal jail for wirefraud.

My attention was attracted to the claim of patents, since that requires somebody's approval (in contrast to a copyright). I did find one (singular, not plural) patent when I did a search at
patent.womplex.ibm.com
It is a fish detector, filed in 1982 and granted in 1984, with an address in Michigan, where I think he was a teenager when one of those two social security numbers was issued:

Inventor(s): Reed; Dorian , Oak Park, MI 48237

Abstract: A fish detecting system including a radio transmitter in a float attached to a fishing line and a receiver at a point remote from the line. The float includes a power source and a normally open switch between the power source and transmitter. A switch actuator is magnetically held in a switch open position and moved by fish activity to magnetically move the switch to a closed position energizing the transmitter to send a signal to the receiver.

Good find, Janice. We were overdue for some laughs.

Document was dated October 28. From the absence of a press release, it looks like they didn't find any suckers.

...Mezz - Looks like I was right about Dorian's lack of college education.

re. <<Diana R. Bradford, spouse of Mr. Bradford>>

It's useful to have the full name of Bradford's wife. The same info appeared earlier, in the 10k, but this jogged my memory.

The Maricopa County court records show a lawsuit filed in January 1996 against defendants Stephen J. Bradford and Diana R. Bradford. The combination of those two names makes it appear likely that this is the Steve Bradford of Hitsgalore.

This appears to establish a Phoenix connection, and at an interesting timeframe..

Jeanette Wilcher and Bill Wallace apparently moved to Phoenix sometime between her 1992 bankruptcy in Minnesota and her founding of Life Foundation Trust on November 1, 1995.

So it appears that Bradford's activity in Phoenix overlapped with Wilcher's.

Besides suggesting a possible early connection between Wilcher and Bradford, this also helps shed some light on the whereabouts of Bradford during what otherwise appears to be a gap in his biography in the 10k, January 1995 to July 1996, when he left one job and started the next:

From January, 1994 to January, 1995, Mr.Bradford also was employed by Biomat, Inc.,
a privately-held manufacturer of lawn and garden products during its
development stage and assisted it to develop its business plans and other
administrative functions. Beginning July 1996, Mr Bradford served for one year
as Chief Operations Officer of OUP, Inc., a closely-held direct mail company
in Kansas City with annual sales in excess of $10 million. Mr. Bradford was
also a director and President of Wamego Real Estate Development, Co., Inc., a
Missouri corporation, then owned by Mr. Bradford's wife. After sale of that
company to a third party and Mr. Bradford's resignation as President, the
company filed for protection under the Bankruptcy Code on September 28, 1995,
case number 95-42574, in the Western District of Missouri. The case was
converted to a liquidtion on October 8, 1996 and is awaiting closing. Mr.
Bradford holds a BS degree in Business Administration and a JD from the
University of Kansas.

HITT can't decide on the identity of its CTO. Last month it was Reed, now it's Truong.

Today they issued a news release that said "Alex Truong, CTO, stated, ``We are excited ...

Last month, HITT's prospectus said: "Dorian Reed is the Company's Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer."
