Brian, We might start seeing some sympathy towards Microsoft. As long as they keep up a positive public relations approach, they will get more supporters.
They are also turning into the underdog in the fight against the court and "big government". Everybody loves an underdog.

PR is important to ensure the public does not develop a dislike for the company. If they can achieve this, they don't need to worry about the so called dark cloud hanging over them.
They need to blitz in a PR move all around the move.

Brian,

I only breezed through the article and I'm not particularly
impressed with the writer's opinions. Be that as it may,
I didn't read anything new in his column and I didn't see
anything that had something to do with what I've been
writing about. If I'm in error on that, please let me
know.

Don't try to paint everyone critical of MSFT with the same
brush, Brian. You do yourself a disservice by doing that.
