ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Rhythms NetConnections Inc.
(Nasdaq: RTHM), a North American provider of digital subscriber line
(DSL)-based, high-speed networking and Internet access solutions, today
announced the availability of services in the Miami area. Rhythms' solutions
help businesses and their remote offices and teleworkers access information

33rd market, covering 56 metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs), to receive
Rhythms' services. With this announcement, the company has achieved its
year-end 1999 deployment plans well ahead of schedule.
"We're pleased to meet our year-end projections early, and I'm proud to

Rhythms chairman and CEO. "Rhythms is working with the best companies in
their respective industries to deliver customers a superior, DSL-based
networking solution. We're also investing in a network that features

With its initial deployment, the company has the capability to offer services
to at least 70 percent of the businesses in the Miami area.
Rhythms provides managed network and Internet access services for
businesses, based on "always on" DSL connections ranging in speeds from 128
kbps to 7.1 Mbps (approximately 125 times the speed of today's fastest dial-up
modem). The company offers its services to enterprises and to small- and
medium-sized businesses directly and through channel partners, including
Internet service providers (ISPs), competitive local exchange carriers
(CLECs), network integrators, and value-added resellers (VARs).
