"Thank You, God Bless You, Glad You're Home" on Veteran's Day and Every Day - 2U Blue, Joe, John; and To All Soldiers. Veterans Day is Remembrance Day for All Americans. Serving in peacetime means the Sword of Damocles hangs overhead by a hair = years of dangerous work and regimentation knowing any time one could be sent to a battlefield. For Your National Defense, Thank You. Honoring Precious Lives Given So We May Live As We Do "May Dear Departed Veterans Rest In Peace". Never been there, know nothing of war, only know firsthand it's effects on those who have Been There. Simply: first, it's hell for all involved - then, IF a different soldier-person returns home, he's different from the One who left. Temporarily Traumatized is as good as it gets. So those who love the soldier make a major healing effort which is usually but not always successful in time... all can then go on to live full lives. But some never make the transition back... others are maimed.. can't to live full lives on their own. The Disabled American Veterans say sometimes the government doesn't take as good care of Our Injured as they deserve to be cared for. Though the individuals try their very best. Yet so many Successful Veterans surround us everyday, all the time. It's the day to think of that, look around. Sometimes they're easy to spot; there's a straight posture and crispness, a shining. Many reach the highest pinnacles of personal and business success. And All just live as happy as anyone can in their own way. Vets are thinking about The Past more than usual Today, and thinking about This Country, about The Service, about Vets and Each Other and Experiences They Share, today more. So we think, mourn, praise, and remember. While praying for Peace, and Our Country. Joana
