G'day all - hi TP, I am not sure the EMC scenario applies to TYC. I mean, the recent selling of TYC is not a portfolio rebalancing due to its high share price. Quite the contrary, IMHO, there could be some index fund selling b/c of its falling capitalization [which really exacerbates the situation.]

Unless someone is gonna to float another rumor, I think the Tice induced panic is over for now, unfortunately, there is a succession of Fed last meeting, yearend and Y2K uncertainties [which is really in TYC's favor, since its 4 lines of businesses are hardly Y2K prone like that of the boxmakers.] I think people are going to hang back, pay lip service but cover their behinds.
