"Do you believe everything you read?" No I don't. That's why I don't believe it when GUMM claims that Zicam reduces the duration of the cold in a statistically significant proportion of the population. I spent 9 years in college and I've been involved with research for the last 14 years. I've learned to understand the difference between fact and BS. You can spin the issue any way you want but if really want to change my opinion, then there's only one thing to do. GET GUMM TO PUBLISH THE STUDIES IN THEIR ENTIRETY, EITHER IN ANOTHER JOURNAL OR ON THE INTERNET. Otherwise, don't waste my time. The only "facts" anybody has to go on is the crap they put out in their press releases. If that's what they're giving us to work with, then that's what I'll use in place of any real "facts".
