Mike: As you know, my respect is deep for your skill as an analyst and for your vast knowledge of the GG and for your flexibility.

But if you may have one slight weakness it is that you tend to approach the market as a rational man.

Voltaire sees the market as one which is moved in the short term by the "houses".

I have found the market in the short run to be - for want of a better word - perverse.

Good news is bad. Sell on the news. No one ever lost by selling at a profit. All sorts of old saws prevail and most of them are wrong.

The market is emotion driven and has waves upon waves, Surfer Mike had the idea. It is like surfing IMO in the short run.

Individual stocks move in strange ways. Fundamentals are often irrelevant in the short run. Stock spits move a stock. And on and on.

LindyBill claims he has trouble predicting short term market or individual stock moves. Don't we all.

But in months and years, fundamentals count. So your analysis is invaluable IMO.

But perhaps, I just have learned from you for so long that I see value even in value analysis - which as you know, I don't really use well - if at all. March to a different drum.

Respect, and as always best regards.

Cha2

I continue to find the market's reaction to this stuff inexplicable.

Yeah, that nasty old "Mr. Market" is a paranoid Manic-depressive!
