You may not see much peace or compassion in my posts but you yourself said you skip over most of it so it is rather difficult for you to judge.. But you should JUDGE don't get me wrong.. If anyone receives what I say rather than searching the scriptures to see if what I say is true then they will eventually get lost. It's like one fellow said.. If someone talked them into believing then someone else will eventually talk them out of it ! Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. I am not here to sell myself... I am a sinner saved by the Grace of GOD alone... 1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? I do not know what I know because I am smarter or for that matter even more diligent because I have watched a lot of TV. ( not proud of that I just cancelled the Cable today... that's enough of that ) I pray that I have not gloried as though I have anything of myself. If I have boasted I pray you and everyone forgive me... I have only that which Christ has given me.. RE>> I would find many of your comments very disturbing<< Christ disturbed people... He even said disturbing things to those whom He had chosen... Pretty disturbing in my books.. especially to a man who would boast that he would die for the Christ ! :-} (We are all heros in our own minds.) It is not the only thing that God does though and so we are to share the whole council of God.. I often thought that maybe God was showing me things that I ought not to show just anyone... you know casting pearls to swine and all.. Some things are hard to be understood.. 2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. I do however see Jesus sharing a lot of things that people say are true but that I should never tell anyone ! If Jesus shared those things in Public then it would seem to me that we are to teach them to men: John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. RE>> I will pray to God in Jesus name that whatever you or I say will be pleasing to Him.<< I do pray that .. If you notice a lot of people you may go to church with talk to others in order to get them to come to their Church ! I am not interested in getting converts for my church. In fact I am not even interested in GETTING CONVERTS at all. I do pray that GOD will save some of those who read my stuff... However when I was saved I was saved BY GOD and he used a lot of people to witness His truth to me... It is as John said... John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease. You really need to read all of what I say to know what is going on. I believe that men are sent to preach to TWO ENDS... Either for GOD to SOFTEN and GRANT REPENTANCE... Or to Harden ( Pharoah ) Jesus did not spend all of His time saying things to try and win converts. A lot of what He said was to harden people... I have no idea what will become of anyone...except myself. I know that I am saved... I can only accept the testimony of others as being true... Unless I see that they do not Know the Lord because they speak contrary to His Word... Some people who fight the hardest are those who God ends up saving. Some people who seem to get saved so easy turn out to not be saved at all and only stay at with the church a few years... You know the parable of the Sower... Mark 4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground;such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. Do you know what make the difference between Good Ground and Not ? I'll tell you if you ask. I know you love the LORD. You just don;t quite understand me yet.. if God keeps this going for a while perhaps you will. God Bless you Colleen... I think I sent Nancy off... Hope she makes it back.
