Lynn, I'll 2nd Milehigh's recommendation of McMillan's, Options As A Strategic Investment. It is widely regarded as the "bible" among options investors. I've collected 7 options books over the years and McMillian's is the only one I use on a regular basis. Actually quite readable given the subject matter. Almost 900 pages, but once you've read the first couple of chapters, you can pick and choose depending on what you're interested in.

v - your gracious post re: leaving option strategy to others is just wonderful - my kudos to you and your marvelous self-effacing statement - we need more altruistic behavior in our lives --
lynn - from one whose strategy is ONLY LTB and H, and from the perspective of very large positions in Q, I would suggest you consider never getting involved in options - the risk/reward ratio is just not worth it, and too many middlemen are getting a piece of the pie - make your investment decision and sit back listening to Bach's Double
Violin Concerto, spend time with family and friends, and smell the '61 Pommard or '82 Lafitte --
