Thanks for the welcome, I think. "Disturbed" is one way to put it.

Actually, after she was laid off she was hired by a guy that used to be a contractor in her group. Compaq then hired his company to develop an application for inhouse use. So she still has an office there. More money, fewer hours. Can't beat it.
