I've read the last 40 or so messages and haven't seen any reference to this $100-mil contract by First Union in todays news for exclusive use of Dell computers:

infobeat.com

Does everyone think this is small potatoes?

Prediction: DELL meets numbers, say goods things about the next quarter. Money flows out of GTW and AAPL and back into DELL. 47 1/2 close by 11/19/99.

jim, RE: I would like to see his earnings per share numbers.

Young has GTW at $1.42 for '99 and $1.85 for '00.

He calculates his target by assuming 40x the '00 estimate plus $26/share in Internet/'beyond the box' value. He gets that number by calculating 28x '00 'b-t-b' revenues of $300mm. End result is Young's $100 target for GTW. I don't believe he has modeled 40% growth for either income or revenues.

In regards to DELL and PEG, it is quite apparent that if DELL delivers earnings in 1/01 of $1.02, the stock will be higher, probably significantly higher. You'll get no argument from me there.

Jim, OT, Q2 EPS growth was 47% (http://www.gw2k.com/about/ir/) and Q3 was 38%, isn't that close to 40+%?

:o)
