ADVISORY/FCC To Rule on DSL Access

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1999--

TOPIC: The Federal Communications Commission is expected to make a decision this week that could dramatically impact the evolution of high-speed Internet access, and may eventually lower prices for consumers. The FCC is expected to rule that phone firms and local providers should be able to share a single line to customer locations, according to an article in CNET.com. Currently, some DSL services must lease a separate line from phone companies.
