Rock and all. . .In my opinion, January will be like an endless Christmas, with plenty of new records set in U.S. Markets.. . . and unbelievable gains in foreign markets. I do expect a very big selloff starting later in November. . .and continuing through the end of December. . . however, our B2B/Broadband Babies. . .[can we call them our "Bees" or something?] . . . will continue to hold up quite well. . . .as the best internet stocks did last December. . . remember, once fund managers START buying these issues, they are committed to continue buying. . . so we follow the cash flow. The January Effect is the enormous volume that hits the markets, when fund managers take new positions for the coming year. It happens earlier and earlier each year as these fund managers try to get the upper hand, so that their funds are in the "right" issues by January 1, when Year-To-Date ratings begin. Swings in and out of positions are not uncommon as they jockey for position. Don't worry though. . . it seems as though I am the only one in the entire country proclaiming the January Effect is underway. . . so it only stands to reason that I am mistaken. . . .or does it? <g> Either way. . . I am definitely trading on my conviction, buying the breakouts then buying more breakouts. . . until I begin to see the first stocks retreat. . . which I haven't yet seen. JDSU and QCOM are the closest to a retreat, but they both had news, so I disqualified them. Hope that helps, Rande Is
