Sorry to butt in.
But your characterization that if MSFT falls it will destroy the technology is as good as a blind man saying that the earth is flat. On the contrary, if DOJ stops Redmond maffia,
lot of innovations will flurish. In fact our AOL will have a better days and can concentrate on other problems rather than worrying about Billy's gang everyday.
All JMHO.

Annette's "cheerleading" is more based on fact than just rooting...Sorry that you think MSFT being crushed by the DOJ will hurt every technology stock in the future, but seeing how more and more the operating system is becoming less and less a factor, MSFT may long be gone in the future, while technology continues stronger than ever...Why did AOL go up while MSFT went down after the DOJ's ruling? Why did Sun Microsystem soar? Let's face the facts, the operating system may well be a dead factor in a couple of yrs...just give us a web browser, and point us to java...the internet, and wireless is where we are headed...MSFT's best days are behind it, while AOL's best have yet to begin...Windows 2000 may be MSFT's last hurrah, and seeing how they've lost the battle for the internet to rival AOL, MSFT's future is now more uncertain than ever before.
