** All Contest Participants ** Big Brother is Watching! <g> As we all know, other traders stop in to monitor positions contestants are taking. These savy traders check fills reported and time of sales to make sure they can believe in our contest and performance results. If there are any errors made by contestants in reporting a fill, I typically get a p.m. letting me know the circumstance. I want to reiterate the "fill" policy to make sure everyone is in complete understanding as to what price can and should be taken for the fill. On fills, if a stated price is given on the contestant's order, if the emini trades even a single tick at that price, the trade is considered filled. Market orders are filled based on the average of the one minute bar on which the order was placed, and it's the contestants responsibility to access that data and report that correct fill price. For example, if the trading post is time stamped @ 12:37pm, and the order is to buy 5 @ market, the contestant would check the one minute bar on livecharts.com (a.k.a. q charts, a free service). If the high for that one minute bar was 1376, and the low was 1374.5, then the contestant would report 75.25 for the fill. If you can not see the one minute bar on the livecharts.com chart, just make sure your chart is set on one minute bars, then click on "chart" on the upper left drop down menu, then select "time & sales." The following link will pop up:204.71.198.40 :443/942124294690?User=demo&Pswd=demo&DataType=DATA&Interval=0&Symbol=ES99Z&Interval=1&Ht=400&Wd=600&Display=2&Study=&Param1=&Param2=&Param3=&FontSize=10 Then you just go to the 1 minute segment that matches the time stamp on your post, determine the high, low and average price for the 1 minute bar, then report that as your fill price. If The average does not land on a .25 increment, then you may round to the .25 increment in your favor for the fill. We will all make mistakes on fill reports from time to time, so it is inevitable that I will be notified when this happens. I will send the trader a p.m. of the correct fill price, and the contestant should post a public "fill correction" notice in response to the post where the fill error occurred. Thank you, David
