Gerald,

But dont forget that, as of last Friday, the DOJ has weighed in
as well. The scales of justice have just tipped away from MSFT and toward the government. Regardless of what you or I think, MSFT is going to have to deal with this anti-trust case.

They can continue along the way they have and fight it out while
their brand gets damaged more and more or they can settle out of
court.

I would expect that, if MSFT were to divest themselves of their
O/S, it would have to be their decision and no one elses. I don't
see a way for the gov't to confiscate the O/S, though I'm not a
legal expert. It certainly beats the problems of a breakup of
the company. That means it can't be theft Gerald.
