Dear Alan.. It is not Bryan it is Brian I have heard that those Bryans that Have a "Y" in there name go through life asking the most dangerous question there is "WHY" On the other hand I have also heard that those with the "i" in their name are too self centered... Just kidding ! However about asking "WHY" that does lead one into trouble in my opinion because men press into the secret will of God. I will make this SHORT just for you AL Also I get really tired of talking about the hate of God and the Reprobates etc... Why can't anybody else in the country teach this stuff so it's not such a shock to those who Read the WORD ? Psalm 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. Do you know what PERFECT HATRED is AL ? I hate those who hate Christ and His Word... but if I see them hungry I will feed them I hate those who hate Christ and His Word... but if I see them thirsty I will give them drink I hate those who hate Christ and His Word... but if I have two coats and they have none I will give them one I hate those who hate Christ and His Word... but if they will listen I will tell them the TRUTH ! Al - Sorry but I could not resist. I am not short of wind. I would like to clarify something. I see a vast difference between the way we "feel" toward our enemies,and the way we must TREAT our enemies.. First.. to have an emotion love for Hitler would be just SICK ? I have however listened to people talk about how Clifford Olsen should be tortured for eons etc... What does the scripture say : Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. We are not to take personal vengeance but rather let God repay them ! This verse teaches that God is a God of Wrath and Vengeful does it not ??? Look at these two verse written only verses apart Al Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry,and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: One verse tell us to be ANGRY but not to sin in that anger... Should you be angry when men kidnap 3 year olds and rape and kill them. Should you have some warm fuzzy feelings for them when they appear in court and tell the father that the raped daughter words were " You do me good better than my father"? This happened just recently ! The man was FROM sATAN.. Have you met any of these. Are you living a sheltered life ? Do you not hate men that EVIL ? Wake UP AL ! Can God save that man's soul... All manner of sin can be forgiven men (except the sin unto death ). God can but most times He likely won't. The next verse says to put off anger... Is the Bible contradicting itself on the same PAGE ??? NO the second anger is of the flesh and sinful anger... Therefore there is Righteous anger and indignation against the enemies of Christ BUT there is the self willed and sinful anger of the flesh ! There is the hated that is perfect and pure that God has toward His enemies... there is also the hatred that is unwarranted and willful from our flesh... as it is written: Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Angry without a cause... quite different that BE YE ANGRY ! I think a lot of people are trying to have Sympathy for the Devil ! That is wrong.. God did not call us to a foolish emotional warmth for the wicked. Christians are called to deal with people according to the truth. There are verse that speak about God hating men I have showed them to you ... I have seen the MANY MORE verses that talk about God's Mercy and Love.. but think Al who did God write the Bible for... US or THEM ? How much time did God need to spend on that topic for you to see it ? There is no greater love we can show any man than to tell him the truth. Do you need more proof ??? Let's trade.. I will show you verses that show that the only pure and perfect LOVE comes from the Father. That the greatest LOVE ever shown to the world was the Sacrifice of God's own Son on the Cross.. I can't even think about killing one of my children never mind turning him over to the Dogs and Swine and Devil.... AND you take my job for a while... I could use a break !
