I've had BMI. It sucked from day one. I've not had DBC but I've had DTN too. Interquote, PC Quote, Bridge, and several others provided by various brokers. Q-charts is far and away the most reliable. Uses next to no band width. Would probably function on a 28K modem! I personally use 3 separate 56K v90 connections and 3 separate ISP accounts for speed and redundancy. Sorry you had problems with Q-charts, but I used it all day to trade with and had no problems. BTW, maybe out in the Arizona desert, satellite systems are reliable, but they are not even close in NC. Cable is not that great either.
I currently get real time data for free from two separate providers (one is my broker and one is for the software company I test and develop for). Nevertheless, I choose to pay for Q-charts.
