Help me with your meaning here...
Presumably, if CC is given privileged information, they would not be able to trade on it, would they?
If it were good news, CC might decide to hold the rest of their long position anyway, and they would not be trading on the information (they would be not-trading on it!);
If it were bad news, then what? Could they continue to sell, arguing that was their pre-existing pattern? Would it still be insider trading to the SEC? I think so. They can't hold either...
Or???
