Maybe you haven't noticed that people tend to try and convert people to their church rather that Christ but I have.. Here is another thing that goes on. People will call other churches " sheep stealers " This comment is very telling. Whose sheep are they ? Are they not the LORD's ?? How can a one church who is called to feed Christ's Sheep steal them from another Church that is called to the same thing ?? The sheep are not theirs to steal :-} If you live in a large city and you want to be treated like GOLD.. Just go to a new church every few months... When people first show up at a church everyone is on their best behavior like a first date.. They are hoping this new person will join the flock.. Once the "honey moon is over" you can just move on... JUST KIDDING don't you dare ! I do not live in this world. I believe that Jesus Christ will find all His sheep .... every last one. I believe we need to be nice to people and go the extra mile to try and and stop the BUCK of Contention. However I also do not believe in being a sucker when it comes to those who are hardened in their sin and have no fear of God.. There are a lot of demons running around and they are here as well. I know what they do and how they operate. I know their games and how they work. I know that they can stumble Christians but they can not make them fall. They can deceive the Elect but the Holy Spirit and Comforter is stronger than they and will lead God's Children to the truth. Those who are not God's cannot have this spirit of truth and they receive the spirit of error. LOOK at THIS VERSE : 1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. I know that many young Christians have a very hard time hearing me. Many of them do not realize how important it is to study God's word and forget about the Rock and Roll that is going on in many churches. If men are of GOD and I do believe there are some here.. they will start to hear me... They may hate what I'm saying at first but Jesus promises that the truth would set us free. That truth is found in His WORD and WILL . I agree I say too much and take too long to get to the point.. That is a fault. However some things are very hard to explain. For instance.. That men have no FREE WILL concerning Salvation. Yet God makes us willing and we must will to do what is Right in order to be saved. That seems to be a paradox but that is the truth. A man cannot be saved except he repent. A man cannot repent except God grant Him the spiritual gift of repentance. If God grants Him the gift of repentance he can't help but repent.. It is too powerful to resist. God is the Author ( the one who starts ) and the finisher of our faith. We are powerless to add anything to our Salvation at all through our actions Yet if we do not act we will be lost ! How do you explain that to the carnal mind ! It seems to make no sense ! Yet it makes perfect sense. Nothing else will make sense. 2 Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; God has to give men the repentance... We have to tell them that God commands it : Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: God commands men to repent... Repentance is a Spiritually good thing to do ... Men in the flesh can do no good thing.. Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: ..God must grant them the spiritual gift of repentance in order for them to Truly Repent in the Spiritual Realm.. so that they must be saved first before they go through the motions of being saved ! What I teach is that Men are Saved Before they even KNOW IT ! The rest is more sanctification then Salvation. But there is a time in every "saved" persons life that they can say they were saved. So that we were always saved.. we got saved... and we are being saved ! Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. So then if Christ Died for US that means He paid the penalty for our sin.. That is all our sins.. past and future.. even the sin of rejecting Him. Paid for and "FINISHED" in the work of the cross... As it is written: Romans 9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. Did you see my 3 posts on Romans 9 ? Later...
