What happened to Dell's B series of machines? I got a flyer advertising RDRAM and when I logged on to their site they don't offer the machines yet. Does anybody else offer RDRAM?

at least on the ASUS motherboards that I use, you can't do that if the SCSI adapter built into the motherboard. The motherboard adapter is hard-terminated and therefore must be at one end of the chain.

I do have SCSI onboard an Aopen board so I'll have to check scsi BIOS to see if it can disable termination. If it can't as with your ASUS then I'll go with the new adapter and ext cable or a new internal Jaz.

Why did you say in your first post 'make sure none of your internal devices on that cable is terminated' and here say 'as long as both ends (and only both ends) are properly terminated. Did you mean the adapter in the middle in the first post.

BTW Thx for speaking in detail..it helps alot....
