. Therefore, HDR uses time slots to share the data pipe with others (packet switching) instead of having your own constant channel like a voice call. A CDMA voice call does not have "your own constant channel," it is shared with others via spread spectrum techniques. With wireless, only AMPS has your own constant channel for voice. Do these "time slots" in HDR actually exist at a pre-defined time slot or do they just "happen" at unpredictable times as a packet? Bux
