To All: After reading the following article one has to ask is Gates the cleverest fellow in the world or politically brain dead and just refuses to learn?

SEATTLE (AP) - Microsoft chairman Bill Gates, making no mention of a judge's ruling that his high-tech empire is a monopoly, made his public debut in partisan politics Monday night, hosting a fund-raising dinner for the state's popular Democratic governor. Gates gave a low-key, apparently unscripted, two-minute introduction of Gov. Gary Locke, who is a heavy favorite for re-election next year. The software mogul called Locke "a leader on truly key issues that will make a huge difference in the future of our state," particularly education, from pre-school to higher education, and technology. Gates, 44, seemed in high spirits and never referred to Friday's federal court ruling that his company is a monopoly that has used its might to stifle innovation and hurt consumers. JFD
