The market seems to know with absolute certainty...ggg<< You're right, and I just don't know... the markets don't seem to care about the upcoming meeting... besides, even if the Feds did raise 1/4 point... the funny thing is, I could probably present a reason for why they will and why they won't....<g> I think the markets would construe a rate increase as bullish down the road and the markets would just keep on truckin' into new highs... but, whether or not they raise rates.. that's another question... it seems to me that they've already painted themselves into a corner... they almost have to raise rates now.. with all the barking Greenspan has been doing... if they don't raise rates now, no one will ever believe him again..... if I had to make a guess, I think they may not raise at this coming meeting and continue their attempt to keep the exuberance at bay.....BWDIK GZ
