Interesting juxtaposition, Gustave. Thanks for pointing that out. The NY Times was certainly banging the ole war drum...

It's nice to see that there are other people in the world who feel the same as I do when it comes to that lying, treasonous whoremonger.

Greeks protest Clinton visit to Athens

ATHENS, Greece (November 6, 1999 Associated Press) - Chanting "Clinton,
Fascist, Murderer," about a hundred demonstrators marched to the American
embassy in central Athens Saturday, launching a protest campaign against
President Clinton's visit next weekend.

As they chanted, the protesters set fire to an effigy of Clinton dressed
as Adolf Hitler.

Protest organizers are hoping to attract thousands of people to
demonstrations planned in Athens and towns around Greece this week against Clinton's role in NATO's 78-day bombing campaign against Yugoslavia this year.

Although NATO-member Greece provided logistical support for the campaign,
many Greeks sympathized with fellow-Christian Orthodox Serbs during the
Kosovo crisis and took part in daily street rallies.

Tight security measures during Clinton's Nov. 13-15 visit, expected to involve some 7,000 police officers and block central streets for hours,
have also been widely criticized.
