Dear aj: Just a few brief observations. What is more effective, a fisherman or a person that teaches others how to fish? Who will be more productive in the end. You have challenged Brian to go out and evangelize on the street corners: that may not be his calling. However whether or not we agree with everything that Brian says is not germane to the discussion here. You have mentioned that organized religion is ineffective. In my experience shallow Christians with the attitude God helps those that helps themselves are enmity towards God. Not that I even challenge the salvation of such people: it is just that to be an effective soul winner one should possess an adequate knowledge of God's Word; to be able to defend oneself against the wiles of the enemy satan. Brian , you must admit, challenges every reader here in his knowledge and diligence in seeking God's Word. You cannot challenge the message without challenging the originator of the message-it just seems to me you are trying to challenge the messenger instead. Just an opinion......gregor
