O.K. I think this is the question... You are quite right that a man torturing a child is evil ! You would have been just as right if you mentioned an adult. You would have still been right if that adult was Hitler. We are not to "torture" anyone.. You chose a child because you presume they are "innocent" which make the crime even worse. It is worse I believe because they are completely unable to defend themselves but not because they are any more innocent that most adults. The child could be as bad as Hitler. It does not matter in our case if the person deserves it or not "Torture" is not the means that God has ordained to deal with evil doers. I think it a good thing that Hitler got LOST ! We may have seen even more inhumane retribution and it likely would not have been a good site ! ON THE OTHER HAND We do know about LAW and JUSTICE. Fearful Judgement does deter Crime even though the devil is busy freeing the wicked in our land ! How is it that a man can be charged for having a dangerous dog at large and yet our government let loose Men who have raped and killed only to see them do it again. How would you feel if your daughter was raped by a repeat offended ? So then if it is right to Judge men and to put them down like mad dogs why not let God judge them from there. Genesis 18:25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? It is a statement of faith that God is doing right in His Judgements. Hitler probably thinks hell is way too bad... many who suffered would still think it not enough. I say it is PERFECT REWARD for His DEEDS ! Now just for a minute HUMOUR me and PRETEND there is a God and a HELL Would you think it wrong for God to ever put anyone ever in Hell even for a few minutes ???
