Caxton - voice capacity will double via 1xRTT....and ideally provide additional spectrum for an HDR deployment.

As Scott mentioned, 1XRTT will double voice capacity, before the introduction of HDR. As I understand it, HDR requires a dedicated 1.25 MHz channel to get the fast speeds. But, with the growth in voice, the extra capacity provided by the move to 1XRTT will be filled up in less than a year. So, given what the Nortel exec said ("Lots of operators have their spectrums completely full."), where is the additional spectrum required for HDR going to come from?
