I too am buying a few small caps here (RRC, TMR). But just lightly until I see more of a bounce from the big caps. OEI and XTO are the best values currently in the mid/big cap E&P's.

API estimates from JoeDi123....

Crude unch to 2.5 lower
Gas unch to .5 lower
Heat unch to .5 lower
Refinery runs unch

Wide range on crude but these numbers might be a 80MPH fastball down the middle of the plate. I expect big draws this week.

PYRX in similar situation as TMR

Small company at 4 3/4, looking for results on two wells in potentially huge NG play in California. Activity in this area very high with deep gas discovery in Temblor formation. Production testing for initial discovery(ELH)are underway, and a second well(CC) has just drilled into the top of the Temblor. PYR Energy has a 3-10% interest in over 100,000 acres in the area, including a carried working interest as they processed the seismic. I've been following it on the KOB.TO (Kookaburro Resources board) where a bunch of oldtimers seem to have formed a social club and post information all day.
