you know, i don't know who will win out on the internet music scene, but one thing for sure is, there is nothing for free - sure maybe the music is right now, but someone at some point is going to want their return on investment somehow. be it shareholders, artists, recording co's, etc. as long as the money pours into these co's, the business models can continue to evolve and for some, the business models will be finally discovered to be big amazonic ponzi schemes. who will survive? mppp, lqid, rnwk? i've bet on lqid.
