My only concern with FDX sympathy play is that a) thinking that some long term, frustrated FDX investors may move their money to UPS, b) UPS is a mammoth $5.2 billion deal (the largest ever in the US) and while UPS is a terrific name, has a net flavor and will have a nice run, I still remember Conocco, c) I sometimes think the obvious plays like this one usually come up short and d) why not play the obvious winner of the day which will be UPS? If, on the other hand I'm wrong on this, I'll be 2 or 3 points behind ya!
