i went back and read your previous post, where you stated, " I have a 2 year old Dell that keeps crashing on me". if you are still into thoughts/suggestions... i'm running win95 and it is very stable for me. i haven't had an os crash in ages. mostly browser IPF's and GPF's. i attribute a great deal of the os stability to norton systemworks utility suite. if you are not familiar with the product, i recommend looking into it. it's forte is finding and automatically fixing windows problems. i attribute some of the os stability to basic system maintenance such as defragging, optimizing, clearing cache and cookies, careful, clean software installations and uninstalls. the rest of it is just good luck. :) mark
