Saw the other thread first. I was asking myself that question (what will the clearing price be) for the ANDN IPO and I found the ANDN thread.

But I figured that a central OpenIPO thread to deal with future issues might be helpful.

Okay, so the question is, where will the ANDN clearing price end up?

I think that ANDN will get a lot more attention because it's Linux affiliated; the Cobalt Networks IPO might have helped set the stage. On the other hand, I don't have any sense of how well subscribed the OpenIPO process is. And will people be willing to place bids that exceed the initial price range?

My guess on the ANDN clearing price: at least $14.50
The closing price on the first day of trading? $31.00
Will it hold? Who knows; the market can still get pretty nutty.

Just a guess from out of the blue; there's not enough information available to guage it any better at this point.

Any thoughts?
